I'm definitely getting a copy of the Penguin threads edition of The Secret Garden. The film stills above are from the 1993 version - I believe it was the first film I ever saw at a cinema. I'm planning on having a big re-read of this and a number of other childhood favourites as those of you who I was discussing this with on twitter already know!

Awe - I loved the Secret Garden - seen a couple of versions but this is the one I remember best. Read the book when I was a kid; want to read it again now!
when I was a little girl I use to make my father read "The Secret Garden" to me every night... I so loved that book and the movie was ok too :)

It's definitely a book that has been influential to a lot of people! I'm actually just about to re-watch this film version too.
